Dhoom 3 Story
Produced by Aditya Chopra, DHOOM :3 will be written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, popularly known as Victor, who has written DHOOM 1 & 2. Victor has also written and directed Tashan. Both Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will continue in their now iconic parts of Jai Dixit and Ali. After that a huge hunt for a new face for the leading lady for DHOOM :3, including international aspirants too, Yash Raj Films declared and reasserted that Katrina Kaif will act this part.
On 2 February 2011, Yash Raj Films reasserted that the third installment of the series would go on floors at the end of 2011 and designed for a Christmas 2012 release, though now it is releasing early 2013 due to extensive post generation. The film will feature Aamir Khan playing a negative character while Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will reprise their roles. Katrina Kaif will star opposite Aamir Khan, eventually casted after mulling over scores of newbies actors resulted in no deserving face. Deepika Padukone will be also one of the main figures in Dhoom 3. Dhoom 3 will be directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya (Victor).
It was declared that the composer of Dhoom and Dhoom 2, Pritam, will return again to compose the music of the third installment.
